ART EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY
In trying to make something beautiful we will fail often, and we learn. We become better artists. Society also benefits from our attempt. Inspiration spreads. Knowledge is gained and shared. The world is changed. This endeavor isn’t taken seriously in most Universities today. Art programs are mostly focused on personal expression rather than first learning a visual language and its skill. We want to learn to express form, light and rhythm we see in the world. The fundamentals of classical art education teach us how to express the inspiration and beauty in God’s creation.
